Innovation trends within the logistics sector, data security and impacts of global events on innovations were crucial topics at the third Air Cargo Innovation Lab in Frankfurt. On 8 November, leading figures of the logistics sector had THE opportunity to exchange views on promising ideas and cooperation approaches for the future.
A particular highlight of the one-day event at Frankfurt Airport was the lively panel discussion on the topic of “Who rules the world of tomorrow? Let’s talk about future technology!”, during which Soloplan was represented by project manager Maximilian Bötsch.
The topics of data exchange and digitisation constituted a central component of the discussion: “CarLo® provides the possibility of exchanging data with external systems (amongst others, DESCARTES) by means of various interfaces. The software also supports the transfer of electronic documents, which is a tremendous advantage in terms of digitisation,” says Maximilian Bötsch.
With Carlo®, Soloplan also offers users the great advantage of being able to cover the entire transport chain (road + air + sea), since the focus has been put on more than one area. As a result, a future-proof business is promoted.
Mr Bötsch definitely considers participating in the event again. The mixed group of participants, with representatives of the most diverse fields, rendered the discussion really informative and he was able to pick up many useful ideas for Soloplan.
With CarLo® inAIR&SEA, Soloplan offers an innovative and future-oriented solution for air freight, sea freight and logistics. The integrated solution provides companies with a software package that allows them to combine road, sea and air freight transports efficiently and to plan and calculate them conveniently in one system.
