Reef Tankers is a reputable, safe carrier of dangerous goods and chemicals in both primary and secondary distribution. The company, which was founded in 1998, is based in Germiston, near Johannesburg. In the past, Reef Tankers used various Excel spreadsheets and many system tools – so their main goal was to acquire a paperless transport management system (TMS). In 2022, Reef Tankers also took an important step towards digitalisation with a TMS. A TMS is used for the planning, execution and optimisation of physical goods movements and makes complicated transport planning with multiple programs or on paper obsolete.
