Last weekend, the Transport Association celebrated its 70th anniversary on the premises of the Silverstone Formula 1 racetrack in the United Kingdom. The Transport Association consists of more than 60 family-run transport companies that have joined together to exchange their knowledge and experiences, harness their forces and help one another. This way, drivers can, for example, stay overnight on the premises of all member companies free of charge.
Soloplan sponsored the big event and was on site with two people. Amongst the members of the Transport Association, there are many customers of the German software supplier who is proud to support the organisation as a reliable and innovative digitalisation partner.
The program of the event was spectacular and varied. The afternoon program began with a big truck show which included current models, electric vehicles as well as up to 100-year-old vintage trucks. In the evening, a festive gala dinner took place, including a charity auction as well as musical performances and a stand-up comedy show.
We thank everyone for the good organisation and are looking forward to the intensive cooperation to come with the Transport Association in the UK.
