Last week, Alicia joined our marketing team at Soloplan for a trainee program. For one week, the team accompanied her in her daily tasks and gave her an insight into the working world.
Alicia: I am currently in ninth grade at a middle school and decided to do a student internship at Soloplan GmbH during the summer breaks. I really enjoyed the internship because I got to know many tasks in the marketing department, e.g. designing brochures, flyers and calendars or organizing trade fairs, company and employee events. For the Christmas party, I was allowed to create the program flyer in a Christmassy design and selected a suitable small Christmas present for the employees. I also helped to maintain and update the homepage and the social media channels and gained insights into the creation and editing of video projects. At the end of the week we prepared and set up everything for a small event on the roof terrace. The week at Soloplan was very interesting and I was able to get to know the many varied tasks.
“There’s still a little time left before I start my apprenticeship, but the training to become a marketing communications specialist is definitely on my shortlist”, says Alicia.
