After almost two years, the development of the new .NET order entry area has been completed. Last week, around 150 customers from Germany and abroad came to Kempten in order to take part in the free .NET training seminar.
Soloplan’s CEO, Wolfgang Heidl, welcomed the seminar participants with the words “New Way of Working – Soloplan will accompany you now and also in the future”.
The backgrounds and advantages of the migration from Delphi to .NET were presented by Christian Heidl, Chief Development Officer. Afterwards, Marco Erben, Head of Customer Management/authorised signatory, demonstrated the new layout manager as well as the new order entry area using practical examples. At the end of the seminar, there was a lively exchange between the customers and the Soloplan speakers and many specific questions could be answered directly on site.
“Today’s training taught us a lot and also showed that by choosing Soloplan’s CarLo TMS, we have found the right product and the right partner.” Thomas Gabele, Head of IT & Marketing at SG Spedition in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
Among other things, the migration has led to a newly structured user interface, more flexible search functions, customised filter layout adjustments, more comprehensive table column configurations as well as closer interaction between order entry and transport planning.
The new .NET development of the order entry area and the transport planning/planning area has ensured improvements in many operating concepts and, above all, greater flexibility so that fewer customisations will be necessary in those areas in the future. The objective of this training seminar was to inform all customers about important innovations as well as to provide them with practical user tips. The speakers Christian Heidl and Marco Erben were particularly pleased with the positive feedback received by the seminar participants.
