LCL (Less than Container Load)

LCL stands for Less than (Full) Container Load, i.e., a partial load in a container. It usually refers to a small amount of goods (e.g., general cargo or grouped loads) that is loaded in addition to a different good. The opposite of LCL is FCL (Full Container Load).
