“Escape the planning jungle” is Soloplan’s motto at the leading international trade fair “transport logistic” in Munich from 2 to 5 June 2025. They will present the new AI-supported planning radar of the transport management system (TMS) CarLo. With this innovation, we make complex planning processes more structured and clear–providing more efficiency, reducing empty routes and making life much easier for dispatchers in transport and forwarding companies.
Transport search in real time
The planning radar carries out a real-time analysis of all open transport orders and automatically suggests ideal combinations–including return loads, follow-up orders and appropriate vehicles. Intelligent filter functions allow you to filter the results by quantity and radius. CarLo automatically recognises matching previous and following tours as well as return loads.
Return loads at the push of a button
A special highlight is the automatic search for return loads: Our system suggests appropriate customers based on your existing tours. Alternatively, we access integrated freight exchanges such as TIMOCOM or Trans.eu directly from CarLo and with only one click.
Intelligent vehicle search
After you have planned a tour, the planning radar supports you in selecting the perfect vehicle thanks to an AI-based search functionality. The system considers factors such as the proximity to the loading location, individual vehicle costs, matching semi-trailer types and previous uses. The vehicles used in the past for similar tour combinations are another criterion. This sheds light on hidden optimisation potential and allows you to make well-founded planning decisions.
AI feed and visualisation–plan smarter:
The AI planning radar displays appropriate vehicles directly on the map and lists all of the transport orders with matching suggestions in the AI feed. This helps your dispatchers make well-founded decisions at a glance. Even beginners plan faster and more reliably; planning errors are avoided, empty routes are reduced and the capacities are utilised optimally–saving costs and increasing efficiency.
