Yes, but not a “classic” open freight exchange. In CarLo exCHANGE, you can only tender transport orders within your own supplier network or directly allocate them to a specific subcontractor.
No. Due to the fact that CarLo is a cloud-based software with a fully-responsive website. You can use CarLo exCHANGE within any browser, whether on smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC.
Generally, there is no limit for which countries CarLo exCHANGE can be used. Using CarLo exCHANGE, local and international consignments can be allocated by large or small transport fleets. The homepage automatically adjusts to match the language in the language settings of the browser.
By the way: Now, more than 50,000 users all over Europe are registered on the CarLo exCHANGE database. Every day, up to 300,000 international transport orders are assigned via the platform. Is your order the next one?
No, only the customer needs to use CarLo. Subcontractors do not need CarLo. They can register on the CarLo exCHANGE platform free of charge. The subcontractor then works using the Web user interface in CarLo exCHANGE.
Nothing at all, the registration for contractors is completely free of charge. It contains a 30-minute introductory training that is also free. Whether costs for the subcontractor arise when orders are assigned and how high those costs are is decided and configured by the customer.
No, the subcontractor is in no way bound to CarLo exCHANGE or Soloplan by a contract. During the one-time registration, the subcontractor logs in by specifying the customer and is added to their network. A contract is only created between the customer and contractor when a transport order is assigned.
The customer can make this configuration themselves. Data such as tour start, tour end, name of the person at the loading and unloading point, actual weight, pallet damages, different loading units and many more can be defined as mandatory fields.
You can directly see these quotes in CarLo in the planning area. There, you can also directly accept the quotes.
Yes, the customer can set these companies to “Disabled” in CarLo. Then, an info box is displayed in CarLo exCHANGE that warns the user of the selection of this subcontractor for the execution of this transport order.
