Means of traffic are technical devices and facilities that serve the purpose of transporting passengers, animals or goods. They may or may not be equipped with a drive of their own. A distinction is made between the following transport routes: by land, by sea and by air. Thus, vessels, airplanes, trucks, cars, scooters and bicycles are only a few examples for it. In the logistics sector, they are the most important resources of the company.
Contrary to the definition, the term means of transport is often used synonymously. Means of transport are a special form of means of traffic, that, apart from a driver, also include the transport of goods/passengers.
