Pre-Carriage

Pre-carriage exists in the transport chain of combined transports/grouped loads and represents the grouping of goods with the shippers and the delivery at the receiving hub. The pre-carriage is followed by the main carriage, where the goods are transferred from the receiving hub to the delivery hub. The on-carriage is the end of the transport process, from the delivery hub to the receiver.
