The Soloplan management team is currently visiting our South African branch in Midrand, Johannesburg, to gain a comprehensive overview of local activities and further strengthen international cooperation. The multi-day visit offers numerous opportunities for strategic discussions, operational dialogue, and insights into regional market potential in southern Africa.
The agenda includes numerous meetings with customers, prospects, and employees. The focus of the one-week stay is also on the technological development of the CarLo logistics software. A central part of the program is workshops on product innovations, such as CarLo Connect Driver Link, a new feature that significantly facilitates driver communication.
The inspiration for this innovative feature came from discussions with South African freight forwarders and transport companies, which revealed that communication between dispatchers and drivers often takes place via many different channels and without a uniform solution. It is therefore all the more gratifying that, now that development is complete, the South African team can also receive personal training.
CarLo Connect Driver Link enables dispatchers and drivers to exchange route information, messages, documents, photos, and status updates—without an app, registration, or configuration. You can find all further information on this in this video.
Insight into everyday work and team spirit
International cooperation between teams across national borders is a top priority at Soloplan, and regular visits to branch offices are an integral part of the corporate culture at Soloplan. In addition to technical topics, personal exchange is also a key focus. Team events and joint activities provide an opportunity to experience the cultural diversity and strong cohesion of the South African team firsthand. The management repeatedly emphasizes how essential this team spirit is for successful global work.
We wish all our colleagues productive meetings, successful days, and at the same time, good exchanges during pleasant conversations!
