IT ADMINISTRATION
Servers, software maintenance, IT security and monitoring are your world? Then you will fit right into our internal IT administration department!
Our team is occupied with the care and maintenance of our own server and client landscape as well as the IT infrastructure and data security within our company. As an IT administrator, you will also be responsible for our equipment and manage the organisation of the existing hardware and software. Apart from the management of users and licences, you will also be responsible for the further development and planning of the internal IT infrastructure.

You are in charge of the national or international sales of our logistics software as well as the support of existing customers and the expansion of our network of partners. You analyse the individual. requirements of our customers from the forwarding and logistics industry on site, present innovative solutions, support customers up to the contract conclusion and, even “after sales”, ensure customer satisfaction.

DEVELOPMENT
You are interested in the newest technological trends and have a good nose for innovation? Join our development department.
As one of the leading software companies in the logistics sector, we develop and maintain our logistics software CarLo and its add-ons ourselves. You will deal with artificial intelligence, voice control, machine learning and augmented reality and will always be on the lookout for new trends, apps or functionalities. As one of our developers, you will work in a modern tool stack environment around Visual Studio with ReSharper, .NET and ASP.NET. Our workflow is supported by continuous integration, automated unit tests and static code analysis.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Here, you will put our logistics software CarLo to the acid test. You will be responsible for software tests, optimisation possibilities and practical user manuals. At the same time, you will always have an eye on the functionality, user-friendliness and compatibility of our logistics software CarLo and ensure the best possible user experience.

CUSTOMER SOLUTION MANAGEMENT
You always have an eye on the big picture, have a knack for organising and enjoy having contact with customers – ideally in two languages?
As a project manager in our customer solution management department, you will be the interface to our customers – from the first professional contact through conducting intensive workshops to the realisation of complex, company-specific solutions based on various Soloplan applications. While doing so, you will take into account any aspects of the daily forwarding processes of our customers. As a product manager, you will continually adjust our software CarLo to the individual requirements and thus take part in the further development of the software. In close cooperation with our sales department, you will determine the best software solution for CarLo users.

SERVICE
You are a software specialist and like to solve problems? Then the right place for you is in the service department.
Our service department operates out of all of our locations and is available to our customers for any questions regarding our logistics software CarLo. The team operates an international helpdesk hotline and carries out installations and trainings all around the world. As a service operator, you will carry out training sessions on our premises as well as at the customers’ locations and help our customers optimally utilise the full potential of CarLo.

Your path to Soloplan
We will make your start in our team – from the application process to your first day of work – as convenient as possible for you. We have summarised the process so you know what to expect.
The application process
Send us your complete and convincing application via our online application portal. Upon receipt of your application, we will send you a confirmation. Then, we will contact you to arrange a phone interview.
After a successful phone interview, we look forward to getting to know you personally in our headquarters in Kempten or via Skype. During the job interview, you will also meet your future head of department, the HR department and our management. Apart from learning about your previous experiences and skills, we also place importance on getting to know you personally. You can demonstrate your professional expertise in a test tailored to your field. You should plan about 1.5 to 2 hours for the interview.
After the interview, we will inform you as quickly as possible about the current status of the selection process. As the next step, we will invite you to a work trial. During the work trial, you will gain insight into your future tasks and get a feel for everyday work at Soloplan. You will also take part in a company tour and spend the lunch break with your future team.
Your start with us
We want to make your start with us as easy as possible by helping you feel comfortable from the beginning and find your way around quickly.
During your first week of work, you will take part in welcoming events to get a first look at our company. You will also receive a training plan and get to know your team while we show you the different departments and their tasks.
An experienced Soloplanner will mentor you in order to help you get started. Your mentor will be glad to support you at any time and will accompany you throughout your training period.
Depending on your tasks, you will already take part in trainings and product training sessions during the training period. That way, you will have the option of deepening your existing knowledge and acquiring new industry knowledge. Among other things, we also offer German and English courses to extend or brush up on your language skills.

Innovation & research plays a decisive role in the logistics sector. Together with the Kempten University of Applied Sciences, we conduct research on modern software solutions for logistics within the framework of the Innovation Lab.

A modern research facility at the Kempten University of Applied Sciences is available to students for this purpose. Together with students, new technologies as well as innovative concepts and methods are to be researched and evaluated.
