A look at the internationalisation of a software company from Kempten

Last week, students from the international masters course Global Business Development at the University of Kempten visited Soloplan. Within the scope of this visit, the students had the opportunity to get a look at the general organisational development of Soloplan at an international level.

In the context of business development, it is very important to recognise opportunities early on and to place oneself on the market. The internal challenges associated with internationalisation were taken into account as well. An area the students placed a special emphasis on was the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the area of transport planning.
Furthermore, they analysed all of the previous tools and methods for the conveyance of knowledge to Soloplan’s customers together. Which possibilities does Soloplan cover? Which ones have not yet been considered or realised? These are all questions the students asked themselves.

As a result, the students established the basis for future projects at Soloplan GmbH that they will be able to work on.
This cooperation is another step to strengthen and expand the work with the University of Kempten, a relationship that has been maintained and valued by both sides for many years.
