CarLo optimises transport planning

From 19 to 21 February, the logistics trade fair LogiMAT will take place in Stuttgart. The software and consulting company Soloplan will seize this opportunity to present its flexible transport management system (TMS) CarLo, which has been advanced in many areas. Among other things, it now allows optimised transport planning and provides an easy-to-use workflow editor for modifying and creating process workflows. Additionally, the CarLo inAIR&SEA module designed for air and sea freight transports has been further developed. Soloplan will exhibit in hall 8 at stand D18.

The CarLo transport planning module, which allows the customised planning of silo and tank trailers with several compartments, has been optimised considerably. Furthermore, the user interfaces of the resource usage plan have been adapted and the data entry options for planning based on tables have been simplified. Transport planning has been optimised as part of the system-wide CarLo .NET migration.

The CarLo inAIR&SEA module for air and sea freight transports has also been further developed, making it even easier to enter, manage and monitor container transports. FCL and LCL transports involving short and deep sea shipping can be controlled and planned transparently thanks to automatic tour and consignment restrictions. The integrated editor for modifying and creating workflows based on an intuitive graphical user interface streamlines processes even more. This makes it possible to define restrictions, mandatory information and hint dialogues for transport processes, especially for air and sea freight transports. The editor is available for all CarLo modules and is intended to avoid incorrect entries, to validate information in real-time and to recalculate predefined values dynamically.
