In order to make the entire apprenticeship exciting and diverse, our apprentices have the opportunity of visiting other Soloplan locations. That applies to all national and international locations of our logistics software company. Thus, usually every year, an apprentice has the opportunity to take part in a two-month internship in our South African branch office in Pretoria.

This not only boosts the personal development of our apprentices, but also provides them with the opportunity of improving and deepening their language skills. Of course, on a professional level as well, the apprentices are also trained in the corresponding skills in the two months.

During the internship in South Africa, free time does not come up short next to the professional part of the apprenticeship. Our apprentices naturally have the opportunity to gain comprehensive cultural insights into the exciting country and the African continent during their stay.

Unfortunately, our popular internship abroad could not take place this year due to the persistent Corona pandemic. The uncertain development of the pandemic has made it impossible to guarantee a smooth course of the internship, which is why the next internship will not take place until 2022.
